Mrs. Inga Torkelson Dies; Came to Falls From North Dakota
Mrs. Inga Torkelson, 38, wife of Adolph Torkelson of 1017 Fourth avenue northwest, died here Thursday morning following a lingering illness. Mr. and Mrs. Torkelson came to Great Falls nine years ago from North Dakota.
Surviving besides the widower are two sons, Ole and Melvin, and four daughters, Hazel, Irene, Anna and Helen Torkelson, all of this city; six sisters, Mrs. Marte Holman, Mrs. Jennie Hersett, Mrs. Anna Gollejohn, Mrs. Martin Bjergard, Christina Gollejohn, and Mrs. Julia Myre, all of Power Lake, N.D.; four brothers, George Myre of Taber, Canada, Peter Myre of Great Falls, and Gilbert and Benjamin Myre of Power Lake. Her father, John Myre, also resides at Power Lake.
