Oid B. Kennedy, age 64, of Magee died Tuesday, November 10 at Magee General Hospital. The Smith County native was a member of Kennedy Springs Baptist Church and was a retired farmer.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, November 12 at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Charles Burnham officiating. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee was in charge of arrangements and burial was at Kennedy Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include: wife, Mrs. Bobbie Lou Kennedy of Magee; 3 sons, Paul Benson Kennedy and Bobby Stanley Kennedy both of Magee and Billy Gerald Kennedy of Jackson; mother, Mrs. Ollie Kennedy, 2 brothers, Willie Ethel Kennedy and Colon Kennedy both of Magee; 5 sisters, Mrs. Virdue Amason of Mize, Mrs. Myrtis Rankin of Magee, Mrs. Ruby Blakeney of Laurel, Mrs. Eda [Edna] Culley of Jackson and Mrs. Eva Mae Lyons of Magee; and 6 grandchildren.
