Mrs. Maggie Hales, 85, of Laurel died Oct 21 at the Ellisville Municipal Hospital. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Grand, Bay, Ala.
Funeral services were held at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Thursday, Oct 23, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. McGill Watkins and Rev. C. R Burnham officiating. Interment followed in the Kennedy Springs Cemetery.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. L. C. (Eva) Hankins of Bastrop, La.; Mrs. Jewell Warren, Magee; Mrs. Irma Iverson, San Pablo, Calif.; and Mrs. Myrtle Hartline of Laurel.
She also is survived by 20 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 20 great great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were her grandsons and great grandsons.
