James E. Easterwood, of Ft. Towson, Ok., died Wednesday, September 1, 1993, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paris, Texas.
Services are pending with Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo.

Life-long resident of Fort Towson, Ok., James E Easterwood, Sr., died Wednesday, September 1, 1993, at St Joseph's Hospital in Paris, Texas. He was 69.
Mr. Easterwood was born June 8, 1924 in Fort Towson to James Albert and Nora (Dunn) Easterwood, and was married to the former Irene Ridenour. He was a WWII veteran, a farmer/rancher, and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Easterwood; three sons: James Edward Easterwood, Jr. and Steve Easterwood, both of Ft. Towson; and Roy Gene Easterwood of Stringtown, OK; four daughters: Gail Montgomery of Sherman, Texas; Linda Ruth Tyler of Millerton, OK; Jean Davis and Deborah Wheeler, both of Fort Towson; one brother: Bill Easterwood of Fort Towson; three sisters: Helen Latham of Ft. Worth, Texas; Alphia Adams of Cathrage, Texas; and Rosie Lang of Ft. Towson; 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchidren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 3, at the Fort Towson First Baptist Church with Rev. Stanley Pope officiating. amd Rev William Latham assisting. Interment will follow in the Fort Towson Cemetery under the direction of Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home
