Mrs Robert P Lilly which occurred at Gales Creek, Oregon, December 22d, 1903. She was a daughter of Robert and Nancy Commack, deceased, and until they took their departure to seek their fortunes in the West, they were residents of Summers County. She leaves the following brothers and sisters together with many relatives and friends to mourn the loss of a sister and friend: Mrs A J Commack and Mrs Samuel D Lilly, Dunns, W Va; A J Commack, Shady Springs, W Va; Mrs Rufus Meador, Pemberton, W Va; R J Commack, Marmet, Kanawha Co and Mrs Geo V Simmons and Mrs W H Cummings, of Jumping Branch, W Va. Mr Lilly was a son of Rev David Lilly, who was well known in this county. He also informs me that his brother, Walter Lilly, died four days later, December 26th, 1903. La grip was the cause of their deaths.
