Jim T. Adcock

Jim Tom Adcock died Monday, Dec. 25, in the local hospital.
He was born Aug. 5, 1890, in Monroe County, Ga., son of the late Bill Adcock and Mit Griffin Adcock. He married Nancy Hogan in 1913 at Rebecca, Ga.
A retired farmer, Mr. Adcock moved to Ocala six years from Moultrie, Ga. He was a member of the Baptist Church at Fitzgerald, Ga.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nancy H. Adcock, Ocala; seven sons, Claude, James, Clifford, Edward, and Clinton Adcock, Ocala; Jasper P. Adcock, Palatka, and Melvin Adcock, Moultrie, Ga.; four daughters, Mrs. Albert Moore and Mrs. Emory Law, Moultrie, Ga.; Mrs. Grover H. Smith and Mrs. J. M. Hancock, Ocala; two sisters, Mrs. Zelma Gladden, Jacksonville, and Mrs. David Hanley, Lake Butler; one brother, Cebe Adcock, Wakulla, and 20 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Roberts Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Newman, pastor of the Church of God officiating.
Interment will be in Greenwood.
