She was a native of George County, a homemaker and a teacher's assistant at Central Elementary School. A member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, she died November 4 as a result of an automobile accident.
She is survived by her husband, Lester Ronald Cochran of Lucedale a daughter, Bettina Ellice Cochran; four brothers, Orville (Sue) Cochran, J. W. (Elaine) Cochran, James Carl (Cecilia) Cochran and Allen (Kay) Cochran and three sisters, Geraldyne (LeRoy) Odom, Doreen (J B) Wade and Linda (Dan) Goff, all of Lucedale.
Interment was held at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Maxie and Rev. Charles Harvey officiating the services. Sigler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
