Carlos Eugene Turner was born May 13, 1934, in Paulding County, Ohio, the son of William and Jeanetta (Day) Turner.

On January 15, 1955, he married Normajean "Sally" Worthington, who passed January 12, 1997.

He was a millwright at General Motors Powertrain, Defiance, Ohio, for 39 years retiring in 1991. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Local #211 and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his mother, jeanetta of Latty, three sons, William of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mark of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Dewey of Indianapolis, Indiana; a daughter, Vicki Turner of Fort Wayne, Indiana, seven grandchildren and a great grandson; two sisters, Patricia Cain and Rae Spinks and two brothers, Richard and Joseph Turner all of Lima, Ohio.

Preceding him in death was his father, William, his wife, Normajean and daughter, Jenny Lynn.

Carlos expired on May 1, 1999 at 6:43am as a result of an automobile accident on State route #500 and county Road #51, Harrison Township, Paulding County, Ohio.
