Mr. Kuhn was a 1939 graduate of Mt. Comfort High School where he played basketball along with the violin, clarinet and trumpet in the band and orchestra. He was active in 4-H raising calves, hogs and vegetables.
Dale served his country in the U.S. Army and was involved in radio communications. He was a member of the Hancock County Voiture 1415, Post 100 AmVets, Hancock County Veterans Service Officer for 15 years, American Legion Post 119, Elks Club of Greenfield, State Commander of Indiana American Legion from 1970-1971, Former Chairman for the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Home in Knightstown. He was a lifelong farmer and retired form United States Postal Service after 30 years as a rural carrier. Hie was a former member of the Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church.
Dale was an avid golfer, bowler and loved to cook for large events at the American Legion.

Military graveside rites provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
