Aunt Maureen was the daughter of James Sylvester and Elizabeth May Oasgood Monks. She met Bryan Michael Cobb while he was serving his country as a Sergeant in the Army Air Force during WWII in England. They married on June 9, 1945 in Chatham, Kent, England and were blessed with their first child Michael Bryan while still living in England. Upon returning to the states, they began civilian life in Bryan's hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. They were blessed with five more children: Stephen James, Patrick William, Ramon Francis, Mary Elizabeth, and Alan Walter.
