Joseph L. Nausley was born March 6, 1885 at De Soto. His surviving siblings were Harry and Charles Nausley of Galena, KS, Mrs. Maggie Woodsides of East St. Louis and Mrs. Dollie Moore of Los Angeles, CA.

His surviving children were Mrs. Rebecca Jones, Mrs. Annabelle Buckles, Lucille and Helen Nausley and Donald Nausley, all of De Soto, and Mrs. Marie Huddleston of Champaign.

Mr. Nausley died at the age of 54 in the Columbus, Kansas hospital. His funeral service was conducted at the Methodist Church in De Soto. Rev. Kazee officiated.
