Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Haigler [sic Hagler] Watkins were held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Siloam Springs Methodist Church near Wyatt. Mrs. Watkins died Saturday in a Hodge hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of D. L. Watkins of Jonesboro. She was the mother of Mrs. Lucy M. Brady of Pensacola, Fla., of Mrs. Ethel Hawthorn of Jonesboro, Hershell Watkins of Wyatt, Lee, Bob, Raymond, and Harry of Jonesboro, Lymon and Mary Ella Watkins, all of Wyatt.

Her step-children are Mrs. Ada Pullen of Wyatt, Mrs. Polly Robinson of Jonesboro, Homer Watkins of Wyatt. She leaves 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one brother, Gordia Haigler [sic Gordie Hagler] of Dodson; three sisters, Mrs. Bellah Jordan of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Essie Faith and Mrs. Fannie Stovall, both of Dodson.

Services were conducted by Rev. Troy Garrett, pastor of the Siloam Church, and Rev. W. O. Lynch, pastor of the Jonesboro First Methodist Church. Interment was in the Siloam Cemetery.
