When Nancy Ann Mansker was born on August 9, 1842, her father, William Henry Mansker, was 27, and her mother, Sara M Lindley, was 18. She had three children with Lemuel Jasper Gilbert: Mary Jane "Mollie" Gilbert, my great grandmother, Josephine Emma "Josie" Gilbert, and Martha Ida "Bird" Gilbert. Nancy married and had children with Riley Webster "Tige" Littlefield: Clinton Theodore, Lou Ella, Edward David, Ed, William Worth "Willie"and Della D Littlefield. She died on January 7, 1917, in Santo, Palo Pinto, Texas, at the age of 74, and was buried there in the Santo East Cemetery. She was my great grandmother.
