JOHN GILLOT MORGAN was born to John Morgan and Ann (Gillott) Morgan on February 10, 1857 in Millcreek, Salt Lake County, Utah.

He married Hannah Marie Scott December 23, 1880 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.

To this blessed marriage 10 children were born and they are as follows:

Ethel Ann Morgan (1881-1904)
Luzella Scott Morgan (1884-1962)
John Roland Morgan (1887-1951)
Grace Scott Morgan (1889-)
Myra Fay Morgan (1892-)
Eldon Clive Morgan (1894-)
Ava Lyle Morgan (1897-1897)
Ora Laverna Morgan (1899-1954)
Leo Milton Morgan (1892-1983)
Willis Gillot Morgan (1904-1904)

John Morgan became the Bishop of the Labelle Ward and he was loved by his congregation and served for many years.

John Morgan passed away November 21, 1914 from an accident. He was on the way to the local market in Lorenzo to take a load of pototoes to sell. John fell from the wagon and broke his neck which lead to his death. He was buried November 24, 1914 in Annis, Jefferson County, Idaho. In the Annis Cemetery.
