Born January 2, 1924, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Paul and Grace E. (Miller) Beck, she worked as a welder during WWII for Frazier and Johnston in San Francisco, Calif.
Mrs. Plonk is survived by two daughters, Joyce M. Bollinger and Donna L. Plonk; four sons, William P. Plonk, George J. Plonk, III, John D. Plonk, and Steve R. Plonk; 16 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy K. Diehl.
Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, York Springs.
