Millie Ann Aydelott married a E.L.J. Pettigrew and later Hickman Newton Harville about 1866 in Franklin or Scott County, Arkansas.

In 1860 a 23 year old "Milley" was in Snow Hill, Titus Co., Texas with her 5 year old daughter Louisa Jane "Eliza" and 3 year old son, John Neel Pettigrew.

In 1880 census, a 43 year old Millie was a widow, living in Six Mile with her two youngest children, James and Nancy Harvell.

In the 1900 census, a 64 year old Millie was raising her 11 year old grand daughter Gertie Haley in Washburn, Arkansas. Millie's daughter, Nancy, died in childbirth with baby #4. Two years later, Nancy's husband, Charles M. Haley died and Millie took Gertie to raise. Nancy's other daughter (my grandmother also named Millie) was raised by the Barnard family When Millie became too old, Gertrude moved in with Millie's oldest daughter Eliza Jane Pettigrew, who lived next door to them. Eliza was from Millie's 1st marriage. All these folks lived on the same street in Washburn.

Millie died in Washburn, (at the time was in Logan Co.,) Sebastian County, Arkansas.

**unconfirmed**
I believe that Millie Ann Aydelott is the daughter of
Thomas Jefferson Aydelott
& Mary Erwin-Aydelott. I consider that she may have asked asked her *sister* Harriet Aydelott-Barnard to raise her one granddaughter Millie Haley while she raised her other granddaughter Gertrude Haley after daughter Nancy died in childbirth at age 21. They all lived on the same street in Washburn according to the census records. Another sister, Sarah married a Barnard too and lived on the same street as well.

I believe that Millie was married to John Pettigrew b. 1832
his parents were Robert & Ann from Orange Co. NC. John's brother (only a year apart in age), James Robert Pettigrew came to Logan County Arkansas with his wife Caroline Fowler. There was an article posted in the Paris Express newspaper about James Robert Pettigrews grandson attending a birthday party at the Barnards and other guests were the Lees, Whitmans, Spicers, all known to my grandmother Millie "Kate" Haley (adopted by the Barnard family, she had photos of some of these people, and I have inherited her originals)
