"Death of Mrs. Emma C. Barlet.
Mrs. Emma C. Hull Barlet died at 2:45 this morning at the home of her sister after an illness of eighteen months. She was born in New Holland, and was a daughter of the late Wendel and Margaret Hull. Mrs. Barlet has been residing in this city about eight years. She was a member of the First Reformed Church. She was a sister of the late Dr. George W. Hull, and is survived by an only sister, Miss Sue E. Hull, of No. 26 West Orange street, from whose home the funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Private burial will take place in the family mausoleum."

BARLET, On October 3, 1916, entered into rest, in this city, Mrs. Emma C. Hull Barlet.
The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, without further notice, from the home of her sister, Miss Sue E. Hull, No. 26 West Orange street, on Saturday morning, at 11 o'clock. Interment will be private in the family mausoleum."
NOTE: The death certificate lists death on the 2nd.
