Mrs. Minnie Schroeder Boecker, 80, of Rt. 1, Brenham, widow of Otto Boecker, died in a Brenham hospital Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Salem Lutheran Church of Welcome Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. F. L. Bracher officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A devotion service will be held at the Memorial Oaks Chapel Thursday at 7 p.m. The Memorial Oaks Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Leon Boecker of Brenham and Burney Boecker of Bleiblerville; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Bernita) Hueske and Mrs. Milton (LaRuth) Flentge, both of Brenham; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Henry Schroeder of McGregor. Five brothers, seven sisters, and one grandchild preceded her in death.
Pallbearers are Roger Schroeder, Erwin Schroeder, Robert Schroeder, Arthur Winkelmann, Harry Wittneben, Eddie Hugo, Sr., Lonnie Wensel and Donald Becker.
Born in the Salem Community, Washington County, Texas, March 18, 1898, the daughter of the late William and Minnie Schroeder, she was baptized Nov. 20, 1898, at Salem by Rev. Mgebroff. She was confirmed March 16, 1913, at Salem by Rev. Mgebroff, and was educated in the Salem School. She was married to Otto Boecker Jan. 23, 1919, at Salem by Rev. Mgebroff. Mrs. Boecker was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church of Welcome.
