Macy Kegley, age 93, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, died Monday evening February 2, 2004 at Woodside Village Care Center, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Kegley was born March 5, 1910 in Swords Creek, Virginia living in the Mansfield area most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, shopping and cooking.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Arthur Stewart of Johnsville, Ohio; a son-in-law, Bill Bowling of North Tazewell, Virginia; thirty-seven grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four daughters, Elsie Peters, Gaynell Bowling, Jean Ison and Maxine Brumenshenkel; four sons, Paul, Harold, Fred & Larry Johnson; three grandsons and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Pastor Mike Stine. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
