Fred P. McMahan, age 63 of Van Deventer Ave., Knoxville, and died Sunday evening at his residence.
He was a member of Marble City United Methodist Church and a Veteran of WWII.
Surviving: Wife, Mrs. Wanda F. McMahan; 1 sister, Mrs. Willard (Ann) Smith; 1 brother, Curtis Wayne, all of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon, 2 p.m., Highland Memorial Chapel, Rev. W.T. Carey and Rev. Kenneth Huff officiating. Interment Highland Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers: Frank Hurley, Gary, Jeffrey and Curtis McMahan, Steve Renfro, Sammy Crawley, Allen Davenport, Mike Farrell. Honorary Pallbearers: Terry McMahan, Billy Mullins, Jr., Joe Mullins, Willard Davenport, Chris and Scott Hurley, Tommy and Jackie Smith, Robbie Reagan. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 7-9 p.m., at Highland Memorial Funeral Home.
