Mr. Herbert Gene Keene, age 76, of Benton died Saturday January 26, 2008. He was born March 22, 1931, in Benton to the late George and Lottie Keene. Mr. Keene was a retired Iron Worker with Local Union #321, and a member of Grape Chapel Church of God. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Hubert Keene.
Survivors, wife, Eva Keene, Benton; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Melanie Keene, Virginia; Tony and Diane Keene, Benton; step-sons, Larry Arthur and Ronnie Arthur both of Benton; step-daughter, Pat Mesa, Benton; brother, Danny Keene, Benton; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Kentucky Cemetery. Minister will be Rev. Rick Dunn.
