JOSEPH LEONARD HAUN, SR.
Funeral services for Joseph Leonard Haun, Sr., 211 N. 4th, Noble, were conducted Sunday, February 24, in McMahan Chapel of Prayer with Loyd Bryant of Noble Church of Christ officiating.
Haun died February 21 in Norman Regional Hospital following a long illness. He was born Oct. 5, 1895 in Wright Co., Mo. He came to Cleveland County from Missouri in 1902 where he had lived the remainder of his life.
He was a retired employee of Tinker Air Force Base where he had worked in the security department. He had also worked approximately 10 years at South Base in security previous to his working for Tinker Field. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WWI and was a member of the American Legion Post 88 of Norman. He was a member of the Chruch of Christ in Noble.
Survivors include his wife Edna E. Haun of the home; 2 sons, Joseph L. Haun, Jr., Moore and Billy Haun, Houston; 2 daughters, Kay Bugher of Conroe, Tex. and Fay Haun, Norman; 2 brothers, Elmer Haun of Franklin, east of Norman and Merle Haun of Norman; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Intermant was in the Shiloh Cemetery, southeast of Noble under the direction of McMahans.
Presentation of the U. S. Flag will be held by American Legion Post 88 of Norman.
