Mr. Robin Alan Tate "Pedro Cudd," 52, of 235 Iron Bridge Road, Cowpens, passed away January 23, 2009. A native of Rutherford County, NC, he was the son of Dottie Blackwell Osment and Step-father Cecil Osment and his foster parents Mary Ellen Cudd and the late Wilfred Cudd . He was an auto mechanic and attended Piedmont Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Kacee Tate of Florida; two half brothers, Kim and Bobby Blackwell; two half sisters, Balinda Thomas and Joy Lynn Blackwell; and a special friend, Debbie Lamb Robbins. He was preceded in death by one half sister, Lori Ann Lyda. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 26, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Piedmont Baptist Church with the Rev. Darell Revels and Rev. Jack Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of Mary Ellen Cudd, 521 Reynolds Road, Chesnee, SC 29323. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or Piedmont Baptist Church, 5524 Chesnee Hwy., Chesnee, SC 29323.
