June Bledsoe Durham

June Bledsoe Durham, 69, 1564 Kenmore Drive, died Saturday (June 5, 1999) at 11:30 a.m. at Indian Path Medical Center after an extended illness.

She was born in Duffield, Va. and had resided in Kingsport most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her son, Hubert Guy Bledsoe Jr.; parents, Brad and Elizabeth Bishop Harold; one brother, Earl Bishop; two sisters, Margaret Allen and Estella Moore.

Surviving are her son, Eddie Ray Bledsoe, Blountville; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Angela Wells, Rye Cove, Va. and Winifred Tuggle, Abingdon; two brothers, Coy Bishop, Kingsport and Frank Bishop, Sulphur, La.; one half-brother, Charlie Harold, Church Hill.

Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, downtown. Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Hickman officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
