John Jordan enlisted in Co.D,6th Michigan Cavalry on Sept.7,1862 at Osceola,Mich.He was wounded in acyion at Opequan Creek,Va. on Aug.11,1864.Admitted to Harper Hospital,July 9,1865 and was discharged at Detroit on Aug. 10,1865 He lived in Oak Grove,Mich. after the war.
