PEORIA - Helen G. Hough, 79, of Olney, the mother of a Peoria man, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at her residence.
Born April 15, 1923, in rural Noble to Edgar and Sally Montgomery Martin, she married Bernard L. ''Barney'' Hough on Oct. 24, 1941. He died Aug. 21, 1986.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Surviving are two sons, Kerry (and Linda) of Peoria and Leon (and Celestine) of Prescott, Ariz.; one sister, Nova Shafer of Morton; three brothers, Joseph ''Don'' Martin of Arcola, Robert Martin of Mount Vernon, Ind., and Harold ''Bud'' Martin of Olney; four grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Burial in Greenhill Cemetery in rural Noble.
