Ernest C. Christensen III, 45, of Springfield died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at St. John's Hospice. He was born Aug. 8, 1954, in Springfield, the son of Ernest and Joyce Christensen II. He married Susan Trayver in 1983.
Mr. Christensen was owner and operator of Christensen Plumbing and Heating Co. Inc. He was a member of the Elks Club, Plumbers Local 137, Spring Valley Walleye Association, B.A.S.S. Club, U.S. Fishing Association and Troopers Lodge 41.
Survivors: wife, Susan; a daughter, Julia Christensen at home; mother, Joyce Christensen of Springfield; three sisters, Pam (husband, Darrell) Erkman, Linda (husband, Greg) Dietel and Carolyn Taft, all of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
