Whitney J. Smith, 53, a native of New York City, NY passed away on February 8, 2009 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Reno, NV.

A Marine Corps Veteran who served in Vietnam, he is survived by a sister and brothers in California and by his many friends in Reno, who make up his "Reno Family".

Graveside services will be on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 12 noon at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, NV. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Mr. Smith's name to the Reno VA.
