Lyons, Jan. 23. - Mrs. Catherine Ainsworth, widow of the late Jesse Ainsworth, Sr., died here yesterday following a stroke of paralysis. Her husband, who for years was manager of the Bevis Salt Co., died from the same cause almost exactly nine years ago.
She is survived by five sons and five daughters, all of whom are here. They are Jesse and Sam of Lyons, William, David and Alfred of Wichita, Mrs. Ben Hegler of Wichita, Mrs. Donald Ellis of Kansas City, Miss Bess Ainsworth of New York City, Miss Lydla Ainsworth of Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Dudley Wyandt of Abilene.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon from the Sam Ainsworth home here.
