Annie was born to David and Lydia Spencer Patton on June 10, 1866. She died at her home in Norman, Oklahoma, 804 East Symmes Street at the age of 83 years and 19 days. She came to Oklahoma 4 years ago during the Indian Territory days. Her funeral service was held on July 2, 1949 at 2L00 p.m. at the Primrose Chapel. The Rev. HW Hinton was the minister in charge. She was survived by: one daughter, Mrs. Meney Hutchinson Holland of Norman; two sons, Mr. Charley Thomason of Norman and Mr. Lee Thomason of Napa, Califormia; one step-daughter Mrs. Mina Page of Madera, California; and one step-son Mr. Manley Hutchinson of Madera, California; one sister, Mrs. Tennie Patton McGeorge of Norman; and one brother, Ike Patton of Oklahoma City. Songs sung/or played at her service were: Will the Circle Be Unbroken; Shake Hands with Mother Again; and Farther Along. Bearers were HD Adams; WH Newblock; Fred J Houck; George McWilliams; Bill McCracklin; and Bill Stewart.
