Bourne was born Jan. 18, 1926, in Richland County, the daughter of Hobart and Dora Blanche (Taylor) Umfleet. She married Carter Bourne Feb. 2, 1946. He preceded her in death March 14, 1974.
She was a homemaker and a member of Wynoose United Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Darrell E. Bourne and his wife, Randy, of Huntsville, Ala., and Danny C. Bourne and his wife, Margaret, of Wooster, Ohio; one daughter, Carol Tate and her husband, Kevin, of Ridge Farm; three brothers, Jerry and Gene Umfleet, both of Olney, and Jack Umfleet, of Claremont; one sister, Linda Stadge, of Olney; five grandchildren, Lori Abbott, Eric Bourne, and Andrew, Travis and Erin Tate; and one great-grandchild, Brady Abbott.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in rural Noble. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to American Diabetes Association or charity of choice.
