Joseph S. Worrell, 86, of Noble and lifelong resident of Richland County, passed away Wednesday at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 19, 1885 in Richland County.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church southwest of Noble. Prior to living in Noble, he had resided in Decker Township for a number of years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Noble Chapel of the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home with Elder E. H. Moldrik presiding. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, south of Noble. Friends may call at the Noble Chapel.

He was married to Edith Ammons January 28, 1955.

He is survived by his wife, Edith; four sons, Berlin of Elden, Roscoe of Tucson, Arizona, Bernard of Westmont and Edwin of Chowchilli, California; and a daughter, Mrs. Eva Lane of Downers Grove; a sister, Mrs. Mary M. Reddish of Olney; three stepsons, Kenneth Ammons of Decatur, Carl Ammons of Argenta and James Ammons of Macon; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Eva Pottorff of West Liberty, Mrs. Evelyn Nichols of Olney, Mrs. Delpha Huffman of Urbana and Mrs. Louise Foil of Noble; 21 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
