Ed L. VanBlaricum, 74, of Noble rt 1, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Noble Chapel of the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home, with Pastor Philip R. Colburn officiating.

Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery near Noble.

He was born Sept. 19,1900 in Clary County, Illinois. On Feb. 25, 1922, he married Bernice Schnell in Olney.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Leon and Harold, both of Noble; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four brothers, James of Mattoon, Verle of Mattoon, Albert of Olney, and Glenn of Princeton; and two sisters, Mrs. Effie Schnell of Noble and Mrs. Wanda Patterson of Denver City, Tex.

Mr. VanBlaricum was a member of the Noble Seventh Day Adventist Church.
