Mrs. Whiteside was a native of Calvert and resident of Mobile for most of her life. She was a Past Matron of Jepthah Chapter No. 41, O.E.S., and was a member of Mobile Chapter O.E.S., The Woman's Club, Parliamentary Practice Club and several mystic organizations.
Having attended the Mobile branch of the University of Alabama and the University of South Alabama, she received her accounting certificate from Walton University of Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 917 Western America Circle, Mobile, Ala. 36609.
