"Mrs. Mary C. Barr.
Mary C., wife of Benjamin F. Barr, died last evening at her late home, 419 North Mulberry street. Jaundice was the cause of death. The deceased was sixty-three years of age. she was born in Eden township and had been a resident of this city for many years. For the past three months she had been in failing health. She was a member of Covenant U. B. church. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Cora B. Staub, Mrs. Anna Greiner, Homer B., Ross F., Chester L., all of this city: Miss Edith at home, and Clarence, of Reading. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Hiram Rose [sic ??], city; John Rowe, Delaware; Michael Rowe, Lebanon; Benjamin Rowe, Paradise; Mrs. Amanda Winters, Strasburg, and Mrs. Jemine Mack, Lancaster township and Mrs. Esther Helm, of Mt. Pleasant, Bart township. The funeral will be held from her late home on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and private interment will be made in Woodward Hill cemetery."
