Vernon J. Mullenbach, owner and manager of Mullenbach's Grocery here, died at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin, Sunday, June 16.
He was 37 years old. Mullenbach graduated from Adams High School in 1951. Surviving him are his wife, LaVonne, and one daughter, Sharon. He and his wife purchased the Blonigan Grocery in the fall of 1966.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Msgr. Snyder officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
