Funeral services for Kenneth Purdom, 71, of Muskogee, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2009 at Keefeton Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Danny Barks and Brother Cardell Coppin officiating. Kenneth was born December 6, 1937 in Pyatt, AR, the son of Harvey Purdom and Cleta (Waggoner) Purdom and died February 24, 2009 in Muskogee. He attended school in Warner and was a member of Keefeton Freewill Baptist Church. He was an engineer working on oil pipelines. Kenneth was a Mason. He loved to sing in church, walk on his treadmill, fish, and tell stories to his grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, son, Darren Purdom and nephew, Roy Purdom.
