Draton Lecesteri Mauldin, 74, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in Helena, Arkansas. Mr. Mauldin was born August 30, 1934 to the late Derward Earshel and Deborah Billingsley Mauldin.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Mauldin of West Helena; a daughter, Lea Donyelle Mauldin of Bastrop, Texas; two sisters, Dawn Robbins and Drucilla Nolan; a brother, Russ Mauldin; a special niece, Mia Robbins; special nephews, Wayne James, Loy Mauch, Robbie Robbins and Mark Robbins; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dinan Mauldin and Dia Savelle; and a brother, Derward Mauldin.
Graveside services for Draton Mauldin will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Reverend J.E. Hughes will officiate.
