M. P. Brandon, a rancher residing near Fresno, died Wednesday at Hanford, aged 60 years. The Funeral was held in Fresno, Tuesday under the auspices of the Odd Fellows Lodge. The Deceased who was a native of Illinois, leaves a widow and
two daughters. Formerly he was a farmer on Owen's Creek where he lived many years. He was a brother of Amberson Brandon of Stockton.

Myron P. Brandon enlisted as a private at Placerville, California, October 20 and was mustered into Company G, 7th California Infantry, October 30, 1864.

Private Brandon was posted to Fort Mason, Arizona Territory. He returned to California with his company and was mustered out at the Presidio of San Francisco, June 28, 1866. Myron filed for a Civil War veteran's pension March 28, 1892, and received application No. 1,100,100 and certificate No. 1,151,084.

After his death his wife filed for a widow's pension July 5, 1911, and received application No. 967,984 and certificate No. 726,729.
