I found on ancestry a clue that his parents may be Branch P Hale 1868-Aug 1918, from Tennessee; and Sallie Hale 1874-1910, died in Coryell, TX. If that's true, his siblings should be Hoyte Howard Hale 1893-1965 and Tabitha Irene Hale 1895-1979.
His DC says he was married, lived at 1258 Locust, Abilene, was a truck driver, and died of TB. Clifford Hale signed his DC.
