VAN ALSTYNE - It is with great sadness we share the loss of our beloved father.

Lewis was born in Columbus, Ohio to Lewis C. and Mary (Koos) Page.
He was the youngest of three children having two older sisters, Mary Kay and Dorthea.
Lewis passed away in Van Alstyne, Texas.

Lewis grew up in Columbus graduating from Aquinas High School and later Ohio State University.

On April 5, 1943, Lewis enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He completed Naval Technical Training at the Naval Air Stations in Memphis, Tennessee and Jacksonville, Florida achieving the rank of Aviation Radioman Third Class. On June 13, 1945 he joined Patrol Bombing Squadron 120 on the Aleutian Island of Shemya. The one thing he remembered the most about his time on Shemya was how cold it was. Lewis was always very proud that he was able to serve his county. He was honorably discharged on March 19, 1946.

Lewis graduated from The Ohio State University in 1950 with a degree in electrical engineering.

On Aug. 26, 1950 he married Corinne Ann Thomas in Pittsburgh, Pa., the only girlfriend he ever had. Lewis was most proud of the five children they raised together. After 53 years of marriage Corinne passed away on May 29, 2003.

He went to work for North American Aviation (which later became Rockwell International) in 1959, in Southern California. In 1970 he moved his family to Dallas to assume the roles of president and CEO of GEC Corporation in Garland. In 1977, he left GEC to start his own company, Pulse Systems Inc., and later expanded the operation to a second company, Precision Scientific Instruments.
Lewis semi retired in 1982 and entered the real estate arena working at first for the Bill Benton Agency in Van Alstyne. Lewis later opened his own offices under the name of Lewis Page Real Estate in Van Alstyne and Sherman, Texas.
Lewis was forced to retire permanently in 2002 when his health started to deteriorate.

He enjoyed hunting, gardening, building things, and working on cars. He spent many years building model airplanes with his sons. In later years he enjoyed raising horses with his daughter.
He was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Parish in Sherman, Texas and a member of the Hurricane Creek Rotary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Corinne and one sister Dorthea Page.

Left to mourn his passing and cherish his memories, Lewis is survived by his children, Lewis IV and wife Michelle of Kanab, Utah, George and wife Elfi of Herndon, Virginia, Stephen and wife Linda of Richardson, Texas, Tim Page of Corinth, Texas and Suzanne Boltz and husband Larry of Copper Canyon, Texas; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sister Mary Kay Brooke of Steinhatchee, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman. Rev. Jeremy Myers, pastor of St Mary's Parish officiating, assisted by Deacon Albert Miller.

Internment with military honors was held at Dallas-Ft Worth National Cemetery.

The Page family would like to extend a special heartfelt thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Meadow Brook Care Center in Van Alstyne. You have been our family these past few years and we could not have made it through these final days without you.
