Stephentown Center, N.Y.—Wilbur J. Rhenow, 62, a resident here for the past 23 years, died yesterday [8 Feb] from a heart attach as he was driving to work at the Agway Store in Stephentown. Mr. Rhenow’s car went into a snow bank after he was stricken.
Born in Albany, the son of the late Wilbur H. and May Small Rhenow, he had worked for Agway for the past 25 years. He was a member of the West Stephentown Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Worden of Stehentown Center; two sons, James Rhenow of Greenfield, Mass., and Steven Rhenow of Stephentown; three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Gower of Alplaus, Mrs. Suzanne Kenyon of Stephentown Center, and Mrs. Diane Max of Stamford, Conn; two sisters, Mrs. William Spain of Albany any Mrs. George Richardson of Guilderland, and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 at the West Stephentown Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Tooley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the spring in Hillside Cemetery in West Stephentown. There will be no calling hours.
