Mrs Irvin A BInkley, 62, of the Louisburg community died May 12, 1958 in the Miami County Hospital where she had been taken the preceding day aftersuffering a cerebral hemorrhage.

Edith La Niece Mead, oldest daughter of Dan and Frances Mead, was born August 25, 1895 in the Jingo community. She united with the McCabe Methodist Church in Jingo at an early age. Her membership was later transfered to the Drexel Methohdist Church where she was a faithful member at the time of her death. She attended college and taught school in the surrounding communities.

September 22, 1921 she was married to Irvin A Binkley and to them one child was born, a daughter, Laura Frances.

Surviving are her husband of the home; her daughter Mrs Laura Frances Rhynerson of LaCygne; her mother, Mrs Frances Mead, Monterey Park, California; four brothers, Carl Mead, McAllen, Texas, Geroge Mead, Rialto, California, Kenneth Mead, Walker, Missouri and Wayne Mead, Fontana, California; two sisters, Edna Litson, Oregon City, Oregon and Mrs Esther Shepherd, Monterey Park, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Drexel Methodist Church. Burial was in Jingo Cemetery.
