The funeral services of Sister Mary Ann Nielson were held here today. The meeting house was filled with the relatives and friends of the deceased, who assembled to pay their last respects to the good woman who had won their love and esteem. Among her numerous relatives was her father, aged eighty-two, Thomas Chr. Jensen.

Sister Nielsen was born April 21, 1844, at Jerslev, Hjorring Co., Denmark. She was baptized in October, 1860, and emigrated to Utah in 1866. She resided in Ephraim, Sanpete County, for several years, moved to Elsinore in 1876, where she has resided ever since. She leaves a husband, ten children and thirteen grandchildren, besides brothers and sisters, to mourn her loss.

Mrs. Mariane Nielson died at her home in this place last Sunday evening at 7 O'clock of dropsy.

Mariane Jensen Nielson was born in Jerslev, Hjorring County, Denmark April 21 1844, died at Elsinore February 5, 1899.

The funeral services were largely attended. It seemed as though the whole community had turned out to offer their tribute of respect to their departed friend.
