Blanche "Nanny" B. Basham, age 83, of Chattanooga, TN died on Sunday, February 22, 2009 in a local hospital. She was born in Ringgold, GA to the late John and Lota Ballew. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters; grandson, great granddaughter and son-in-law.
She is survived by husband of 32 years, Randy Basham of East Ridge, TN; two daughters, Barbara Kindred of Rock Spring, GA and Judy (Errol) Dauenhauer of Madison, MS; son, Larry (Reba) Delbrugge of Palm Coast, FL; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; great great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Manning officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 AM to 7 PM and on Wednesday from 8 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12:30 PM at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN 37412.
