PICAYUNE – Services are schedules for 11am Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune for James Ira Alligood, 53, of Picayune who died Nov. 17, 1993 in Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
The Rev. Arlis Grice will officiate. Interment will be in the Gipson Cemetary.
Mr. Alligood a Georgia Native, was a carpenter in the construction industry. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Lynn Malley of Picayune and Donna Kay Alligood of Detroit; three brothers, Christopher Alligood of Atlanta, Harry Alligood of Bay St. Louis and Kenneth Alligood of Nicholson; six sisters, Frances Norton of Meigs, Ga., Betty Jo Penton of Picayune, Jo Ann Freeman of Carlisle, Pa., Patsy Kent of Port Allen, La., Nancy Ruth Alligood of Baton Rouge, La., and Shelby Jean Alligood of Atlanta, and three Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.
