A.C. was 5'6'' with a light complection, dark eyes and dark hair. He was Married twice once back in Ohio to louisa Benson, And the other in Kansas to Sarah Francis roper. A.C. served in the Civil War from December 9,1861 to July 15,1865 under Gen. John Logan, and even earned the rank of sergeant. He was in the 20th regiment of the Ohio infantry. He took part in Shermans March to the sea. He caught Sclerosis and died from it. HE and his wife are buried in the McCune Cemetery.
