I am unsure of why the family was living in Louisiana when Roy was born. They were there only a few years, then returned to Missouri. He and his first wife Nellie had two daughters that I know about. Their oldest is at Waco Cemetery in Waco, Missouri, her name was Eulah Pauline Hendry she passed away at the age of 1 year and 5 months. She is buried next to his brother Charles Raymond Hendry. Their younger daughter was Beulah Hendry Clemson-Musso. Roy and his wife along with his sister Margaret Gary's family were living in Idaho in the 1930's. The families moved there to work in the mines. That's where Nellie passed away. Roy was a mining engineer. The family story is that Roy never got over the deaths of his wife and daughter. I remember Roy as Uncle Frog a kind but wounded man that loved my mother his niece. My father seemed to always have a soft spot in his heart for Uncle Frog.
