Paul E. Blair, 85

A lifelong farmer, Paul E. Blair, 85, of rural Warren, died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Memorial Home, where he had resided the past five and one-half years.

Mr. Blair was born in Liberty Twp., Wells County, on June 12, 1911, a son of Charles Emery and Flora Bell Fudge Blair. His marriage at Warren on Jan. 25, 1936 was to Viola M. Green, who survives.

Mr. Blair was a member of the United Church of Christ at Warren and was a high school graduate.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ronald D. of rural Huntington and Darrell G. of Portage; a daughter, Mrs. Dan (Jean) Dunphy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Miss June I. Blair of rural Huntington, Neoma Cloud and Grace Stock, both of Marion, and Mrs. Harrold (Mary Ellen) Beck of Markle; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, will be at Bergman-Glancy H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren with Rev. John Pattison officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Warren.

Calling hours at the funeral home are from 2 to 8 p.m. today.
