WILLIAM JONES IS CALLED BY DEATH
William Jones, 72, died at 3:45 this morning at his home near Basham's Chapel, Decatur Route 4.
The body was removed to Priest's and prepared for burial later being returned to the home. Funeral rites will be conducted at Basham Chapel Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. Fred Schlosser and the Rev. W.W. Aldridge. Interment will follow with Priest in charge.
Mr. Jones is survived by his widow: four sons, G.B., S.D., J.M. and W.W. Jones, Decatur Route 4; two daughters, Mrs. J.P. Roberts of Neel and Mrs. J.O. Martin of Decatur Route 4; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The following were active pallbearers: W.M. Brothers, S.J. Sparkman, C.W. Lane, Lee McCulloch, G.E. Means and W.W. Lamon.
